Festive fun and frolics

What a wonderfully busy festive week to end a fantastic term!

Year 3 have had such a busy week enjoying all the planned festivities in the run up to Christmas. Our play is complete - the actors and actresses certainly looked their part and thoroughly enjoyed their final performance which was filmed for us all to enjoy. We hope that you loved watching it with your mince pies!

Sadly we have to report that poor Mrs Teesdale and Mrs Donaldson have had terrible trouble yet again this week with the naughty elves. Their antics included ripping down Mrs Teesdale's beautiful display on magnetism, making a terrible mess in Mrs Donaldson's classroom by helping themselves to snacks, hanging from the newly decorated Winter Wonderland corridor and you won't believe this but they even caused mayhem with the animals by riding around on the back of the goats!! All this - despite us being reassured by Father Christmas himself after they were sent back to Reindeerland last week that their behaviour would improve!

Thank goodness the term is ending and hopefully Mrs Teesdale and Mrs Donaldson will not have to endure any more antics and further disruption from the pesky pair!
We are all poised for the Santa Fun Run this afternoon and thank you to everyone who donated to the Sue Ryder Hospice.
All that we need to say is have a superb Christmas and a brilliant New Year. We look forward to another great term in 2021.
